Research Interests and Publications
(Last update: May 2016.)
Current research interests
I am mainly
interested in applying statistical inference and model selection methods to
problems that involve longitudinal data (biology, health sciences, forest
fires, actuarial science), time to event data (engineering, biostatistics,
actuarial science) and in loss modeling (actuarial science, warranty models). I
am particularly interested in finding ways to implement these methods in the
presence of large or complex data. I am a member
of the Big Data Research Center of l’Université Laval and of the Statistics Laboratory of the Centre
de recherches mathématiques
(CRM).
